EXTRACT FROM ST SHAKA ZULU FIRST ENCOUNTER with a WHITEMAN
St. Shaka Zulu had noticed a certain thing in the hands of a Whiteman ,then asked.”What magic is that one?”.pointing at the book. “The Bible ,where stories and history are written and stored for generations to come". Whiteman answered. “No .The only way to store information and history is in the heart and in mind and the name Shaka will be REMEMBERED and passed on for generations to come.” The whiteman handed over the Bible to St Shaka Zulu.He opened at the page where Jesus was crucified,then St Shaka asked. “Who is this one.” Jesus,the king of kings.People all over the world worship and pay allegiance to him”.The whiteman answered. Exchange of glances ,St Shaka Zulu was puzzled, then flatly said. “He is a dead king,hanging from a tree,blood dripping from the arms and legs with women and children weiling while kneeling”. “No. He is alive. even King George worship that king”.the white man answered. “How did King George become ,King if Jesus is still living?” St Shaka Zulu queried. There was a moment of silence at that point.Shaka went on, “King George was crowned king to replace the dead King Jesus because people had realized that he had died. People of Amazulu had chosen me Shaka to be their king to replace the dead King Jesus .In Zululand ,there are many kings, but the King of Kings ,is me Shaka. All the powers of the dead Jesus were given to me. Heavens belong to Amazulu.”St Shaka Zulu emphasized. “Yewo ,Nkosi !”the whiteman stammered while shivering.
